Lakeisha is an author, social worker, motivational speaker, entrepreneur and preacher. Lakeisha knows what it takes to rise from victim to victor growing up in a Christian home. She was raised in Paterson, New Jersey (twenty minutes from Manhattan, New York). Lakeisha excelled academically while being a victim of sexual abuse as a child. The hand of God was upon Lakeisha\'s life, enabling her to excel academically despite traumatic life setbacks.
Lakeisha graduated from Rosa Parks High School as a drama major and was honored as valedictorian of her 1999 high school class. Lakeisha was named Who\'s Who among high school students in 1999. She graduated from Pennsylvania State University with BAs in both political science and psychology. Lakeisha received over 40 awards and recognitions for her academic achievement and community service involvement. Lakeisha also became a member of Alpha Nu Omega Inc. (a Christian Greek organization) as a student as well as a member of the Baltimore/Washington Alumni Chapter.
